If you wish to pursue a rewarding career as a Cost & Management Accountant (CMA), you have to take the Advanced CMA Exam, which is considered the last phase of achieving this huge qualification.
CMA Course Structure comprises three levels, providing comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge in:

Eligibility Criteria for the Final Level CMA Course
Eligibility for Admission:
(a) A candidate must have completed the CMA Intermediate examination from ICMAI or any other equivalent qualification.
(b) A candidate must have completed 3 years of practical training after passing the CMA Intermediate exam.
How To Register For Final Level CMA Course?
All eligible students can register for the CMA Last Stage Exam. The registration process for ICMAI is open throughout the year, but to join the CMA Final course, one must register before the dates mentioned.
- For June 2025 exams, register before 31st January 2025.
- For December 2025 exams, register before 31st July 2025.
Professional CMA Course Registration
For the Professional CMA Registration process, here are the documents you need:
- Attested copy of CMA Intermediate Marks Statement
- Attested copy of 12th/Graduation certificate
- Passport size photographs (three)
Final Level CMA Registration Process
Follow these steps to complete the registration:
- Visit the ICMAI website and navigate to the ‘Online Admission’ section.
- Select ‘Apply for Final Level CMA Registration’.
- Create a new login account.
- Fill in personal and academic details.
- Upload the required documents.
- Pay the registration fees online through credit/debit card or net banking.
- Upon successful registration, you will receive login credentials and a confirmation email.
Advanced CMA Exam Passing Criteria
To pass the Advanced CMA Exam, students must:
- Secure at least 40% in each paper.
- Achieve an aggregate score of 50% across all subjects.
Final Level CMA Exam Form
After registration, students must complete the Final Level CMA Exam form online via ICMAI’s official website. The fee for the exam form is ₹1,200. For foreign nationals, the fee is $60. Late submissions will incur an additional fee of ₹500.
Advanced CMA Admit Card & Updates
Obtaining the Admit Card:
- Admit cards can be downloaded from the ICMAI website.
- Available 10 days before the exam.
- ICMAI does not send admit cards physically.
Corrections & Reminder:
- Print 3-4 copies of your admit card.
- Ensure Center and Medium details are accurate.
- Admit cards can be downloaded up to 3 times.
- Bring valid ID proof and multiple copies of the admit card to the exam center.
