After clearing the CMA Foundation Examination, it’s time to forward to prepare for the CMA Intermediate Examination. This is the second step towards becoming a CMA.

Eligibility for Admission:
(a) Passed Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2) and Foundation Course of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India/ Graduation in any discipline other than Fine Arts/ Foundation (Entry Level) Part I Examination of CAT of the Institute/ Foundation (Entry Level) Part I Examination and Competency Level Part II Examination of CAT of the Institute.
(b) Passed Foundation of ICSI/Intermediate of ICMAI by whatever name called along with 10+2.
(c) List of other qualifying examination are given vides Annexure VI of prospectus.

- Attested Copy of Matriculation Certificate
- Attested copy of 10+2 Certificate or Marks Statement
- Attested copy of the degree
- 3 Passport size photographs
Exam fees:
- ₹1,200 for one group
- ₹2,400 for two groups
Exam process:
To get started, follow these necessary steps:
Step1. Fill the admission form to enrol for the CMA Inter course and Pay the admission/enrolment fee.
Step2. Complete the CMA Intermediate registration (only eligible candidates can register).
Step3. Fill the CMA Intermediate exam form.
Step4. Download the CMA Intermediate admit card.
Step5. Appear for the CMA Intermediate exams.

Registration for the ICMAI course is open throughout the year However, Students desirous to appear for June Term Examination should apply before 31st January of that year and for December Term Examination should apply before 31st July of that year.
Passing criteria for CMA Inter
The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) sets the benchmark for clearing the CMA Intermediate exam. To pass, candidates must secure the following minimum marks:
– Minimum 40% marks in each paper
– Minimum 50% aggregate marks in both groups (Group I and Group II)
